Awkwafina
Awkwafina, an American actor and singer, began with a series of rap songs which dealt with the subject of sexual and race. Her career expanded to Hollywood after she released an album of raps. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants within Forest Hills Queens her first taste of musician life came through trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she was just a teenager. In her schooling, she specialized in journalism and woman's studies. She was also a student of Mandarin during a time in Beijing. However, it wasn't until she graduated that she shifted her focus on music. After becoming famous on the Internet and her own song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually was included on the debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also included viral hits such as the body positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown the city of New York Bitche$. The latter track was tied to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. Apart from having published a book as well, she also worked as a singer. In addition to early series like Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in the movies Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. In 2018, her breakthrough performances included Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released in June.
